Post of Research Assistant – Ministry of Health – Sri Lanka

A candidate,

1) Must be a Sri Lankan citizen over 18 years of age.

2) Should have at least a bachelor’s degree in Medicine/ Nursing/ Health Promotion/ Science/ Sociology/ or a relevant field from a University Grants Commission approved University or Institute.

3) Should have good conversational skills and writing skills in Sinhala and English

4) Work hours will be 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, but may have to work late in the field on certain days

5) Should be willing to attend online meetings out of work hours if a need arises.

6) Should be able to be physically present during work hours in the selected hospitals for data collection from clinic patients under supervision, in Kaluthara district.

7) Should be willing to work in the Office of the Regional Director of Health Services Kalutara and Non Communicable Diseases Unit of Ministry of Health, Colombo 10.

8) Should be willing to work till September 2022.

9) Should be competent in using a computer and an android phone.

10) Knowledge in basic computer software such as MS Office package, email is a necessity

12) Knowledge in statistical packages such as SPSS will be considered an advantage

Contract period will be until the month of September from the date of recruitment.

An all-inclusive allowance of LKR 50,000.00 will be paid monthly
